Mesilla Park Elementary School (MPES) has an enrollment of 560 students of which approximately 80% are Hispanic, 13% Caucasian, and 2% African American. It has a staff of 61 with 38 being certified staff. Some of the programs that Mesilla Park offers include Dual Language, Green Team recycling group, Before School Program, SEMAA , and We Sing. In addition, Mesilla Park Elementary School offers breakfast in the classroom, free and reduced lunch, programs for students with learning disabilities and English Language Learners, and the K-3+ summer program.WILL BE UPDATED IN AUGUST OF 2011!
